From experience we know that the success of an idea is not only about the value of the problem it solves but, how it treats the team that will be crucial in assembling it all. Invest early on in your people when others are weary and the benefits will be contagious beyond the bottom line.
Security is not the enemy
Data is the life line of pretty much all software. From your source code to the keys that sign the software, Perhaps, the most precious is your analytics be it scrubbed for privacy adherence or not we can still extract patterns and those conclusions are often priceless
We invest early in security at the expense of cadence. Down the road that effort will drive an increase in productivity and adoption. With a sound foundation to work with we worry just a little less about that exploit and that comes with a its own set of benefits for your most important asset, your people.

As the president of JS First, Jonathan Simon brings to the table a technology first perspective. Having worked at every level of a startup that eventually capitulated, experience has shown that focusing on innovation and constantly adjusting all things part of the process for small but constant efficiency gains has proven to be crucial. Fighting to remain nimble shouldn't be forgotten even as a company scales as hard it might be.
I'm Always available to listen and discuss
Strive for balance. Put your people first. Look at all projects and ideas as rationally as you. Always be on the look out for things that are starting to be emotionally driven.
Put this all together and it's possible success may flourish without anyone noticing. This is the best kind of success.
As the next phase approaches I sense that I have a duty to thank our team without whom I would still be searching for the meaning of life. As we add more content here and our new projects (shhh) I will name drop when appropriate.
Such as Thanking Victoria for that avatar you see of me above given my disdain for pictures this was one of the best presents ever.
And also to Doug given the title of this section Thank you for listening/reading all of my of naive rhetoric but most of all thank you for making me less naive. Those discussions built the company, and guided our vision clearly.
